 What is the history of Nike?

Nike, Inc was founded as Blue Ribbon sports in 1964 by Bill Bowerman (Oregon University’s track and field coach) and Phil Knight (his former student). The Blue Ribbon Sports Company was headquartered in Beaverton, Oregon. The first retail shop was opened in 1966, and launch the first Nike brand in 1972.
