Founded in Milan in 1978 by Gianni Versace, the eponymous brand is a family affair with an innovative flare. When Versace was founded, the designer who was barely 30 years old at the time had his brother Santo Versace, general manager, and his sister Donatella, muse and artistic director, by his side. It was after his assassination in 1997 that Donatella took over the reins of the brand. The luxury brand continues to stand by a sulphurous style that made them popular. We love Versace for its exuberance, sensuality and boldness.
