Thuong Dinh is the latest trainer brand to hit the European market. However, they certainly are not newcomers, with a history that dates back to 1957 in Vietnam. Originally, the brand was the official manufacturer of the Vietnamese troops. Situated just outside of Hanoi, their manufacturing plants were bombarded by the American B-52's, and their workers organised themselves to participate in their city's defence, creating trenches and installing an anti-aerial defence in the heart of the factory. In 1961, the brand designed their first trainers, then designed for sports such as badminton and Plumfoot, a local sport. Today, it's fashion addicts that can't get enough of Thuong Dihn!
